IK-Group have donated hundreds of high visibility snap bands to school children aged 4 – 11. The initiative is part of the Be Safe, Be Seen campaign which aims to reduce the number of accidents involving young people on their commutes to and from school and extra curricular activities.

Group Marketing Manager, Neil Shepherd, said “This is a very important initiative for us to be a part of. With the dark mornings and nights here for the next few months and people getting weary from the stresses and strains of what has been an incredibly difficult year for everyone, it’s important that we are still aware of our surroundings and those within it. Although small, these bands make a huge difference in making anyone who wears them more visible and might just prevent something unfortunate happening. Providing some extra protection to the young people of our community who are still learning about road safety is the least we can do.

IK still have a small number of the bands available, so if you would like to receive some, please get in touch – neil.shepherd@ik-worldwide.com.
