IK designed and delivered 5 off high pressure and high flow decommissioning plugs for a subsea decommissioning project.
The plugs were used for flushing and decommissioning of several 6” flow lines at the field and the field was located at 800 meter of water and all operations were performed by ROV.
The plugs included a class 4 torque bucket for the setting operation and were designed for handling both external and internal pressure, 80 bar and 270 bar.
The plugs were delivered with 2” receptacle and stabs for the flushing operation. The plugs were delivered with blind / dummy stabs for sealing after the flushing operation
